This Atlanta Soul Food Festival Next Month Is So Massive It Spreads Across Four Days

One thing's for sure - whether you're a native Georgia peach or a transplant from elsewhere, loving and living in Georgia comes with loving soul food. The sweet smell of collard greens, macaroni and cheese, cornbread, cobbler and more will come together during Atlanta's free four-day Taste of Soul Festival. Taste of Soul Atlanta is a festival that celebrates all things soul foodand the people behind those dishes. 

Taste of Soul Atlanta (TOSA) is more than just a food festival. It's four days jam-packed with activities. For all the TOSA newbies out there, let's break down each day for you.

Taste of Soul - Atlanta has become one of the top Atlanta food and music showcases in only its third year, and it will take place on September 2-3 in Downtown Atlanta. Pairing R&B and Soul musicians with a variety of Soul Cuisine, a kid zone, art exhibits, and a 5k run/walk.  Frenchie Davis, Ricco Barrino, Phillippia, and scores of others headline the music concert.  Adventurous patrons will have the opportunity to participate in the Rise Run (5K), which is a run/walk through the Downtown West. The kid's zone features games and activities for all ages.
