WHEN AND WHERE IS THE FESTIVAL?

Festival - Outdoor Festival Saturday & Sunday (12pm-9:00pm)

Festival Location - Across from the Mercedes Benz Stadium:
Main Entrance Atlanta's West Downtown - @ 10 Northside Dr. & N. MLK Jr. Dr. Atlanta GA 30314; in the heart of the nation's Soul Food capital.

DO I NEED TICKETS? 

No, this is a FREE CITYWIDE FESTIVAL, if you want to enjoy the music you should bring a lounge chair to see the rising artists on the Phoenix Stage.  However, if you want to experience the festival headliners and the main show, then you want to get tickets to the Soul in the City Concert. This concert is a separate section of the festival that is only accessible to ticket holders. CLICK HERE to view the lineup and to purchase tickets.

WHY SHOULD I GET SOUL IN THE CITY CONCERT PASSES (TICKETS)? 

With a VIP Pass you will get concert entry (3PM - 9:00PM) on the days for your pass, to the concert area with table clothed tables in front of the Soul in the City Stage where all top artist perform.  Sit down and relax and enjoy the show all day.  You will have a blast!


Atlanta Parking - OMG? 

Parking in the city can be tough, luckily we are in West Downtown so parking is available all around, our favorite spot is 550 Mitchell St SW, Atlanta, GA 30313. However, you probably guessed that it’s not free. It can cost a little to park, but life is short and you won’t miss that $10 - $20 it might cost you to park; because you and your loved ones will have memories of this festival for years to come. “Remember that time we . . . ” no one says “Remember 2 years ago when we saved that $20 on parking by sitting at home or going to the mall, again :(”.


I Have Passes to Soul in the City Concert - WHAT DO I DO?

Your Pass gives you all day access (3PM - 9:00PM), so show up early and get the best seat in the Concert.  Then eat, drink and be carefree all day; make it an event to remember .

Go to Will Call (anytime from 2PM to 8PM--find the Will Call tent is toward the front of the festival, close to Northside Drive. Pick up your passes, we have your wrist band.  The concert area opens at 2:00pm and the concert starts at 3PM.  Remember Soul in the City Concert passes are General Seating, so come early and get the best spots; just make sure you check into Will Call first.


DO I HAVE TO BE CERTAIN AGE TO ATTEND?

No, this is a family friendly event, all ages are welcome.  We even have kid zone where the kids will have a blast! Also, there is NO age restriction for the Soul in the City Concert.


CAN I BRING MY DOG, Cat, or T-Rex?

Sorry, pets are not allowed.


WHAT IS TASTE OF SOUL ATLANTA ABOUT?

Saturday & Sunday - TOSA Festival is a citywide FREE festival that takes place in West Downtown in the Heart of America’s Soul Food Capital; TOSA is the largest festival in West of Peachtree.  This family festival celebrates Soul and Southern food, live music (national artist headliner), art, kid events, urban winemakers and Atlanta’s best people watching. 

Saturday & Sunday - Cocktail & Wine Festival is a wine & cocktail tasting like you have never experienced.  Sip and learn about wines from the most prestigious African American wine and cocktail makers. 

Sunday - BrunchTOSA is Atlanta’s Biggest Brunch, a citywide all you can eat brunch buffet with live Soul and R&B music in an open outdoor festive environment.  It doesn't get any more fun than this. Returns 2025.

Monday | Labor Day - Soul Rise 5K is a citywide Run & Walk that benefits early childhood development. Returns 2025.


IS THE EVENT WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE?

Yes, all entrances to the event, vendor area, food area and main concert area are wheelchair accessible.


ARE THERE ATM’S ON SITE?

Vendors offer a mixture of cash and credit transactions.  However, ATMs are available at the event.


WHAT’S THE BEST WAY TO GET TO TASTE OF Soul Atlanta?

We encourage concert goers to ride MARTA! - 2 min walk from Vine City Marta Station (West line) or a 15 min walk from Ashby Marta Station

Parking is available around the festival but you will have to walk.  For drivers, please carpool and park only in clearly marked areas, being respectful to our Vine City neighbors.


TICKET QUESTIONS (Applies to All Ticketed Events)

Do I Have to Bring My Printed Ticket to the Event

No, you can show your ticket on your phone. However, we like it when you bring your printed ticket, it speeds things up.

Can I Update My Registration Information

No, but it doesn’t matter, just bring the printed ticket and that will work.

Is My Ticket Transferrable

Yes, just give the printed ticket to the person you want to attend, we will scan that and they are good to go.

Is It Ok If The Name on the Ticket Doesn’t Match

Yes, it is ok. But once we scan it, that ticket is locked out.

Not this year.

HOW DOES LOST AND FOUND WORK?

If you loose something at the festival we may be able to help you recover your lost items. First go to the Will Call Tent, or check in for other festival events, all lost items are taken to Will Call. If the festival has ended and you still didn’t find your lost item, email us at info@tasteofsoulfest.com and let us know what you lost.

WHAT IS A PRIME VENDOR?

PRIME Vendors will have the opportunity to select their location at the festival.  In Early July we will notify all PRIME Vendors of the selection date.  On the selection date all PRIME vendors will be notified at the same time of the space options.  Each Vendor will then select their location in our application and spaces will be locked in first come first serve (Prime Vendors Only).   After All PRIME Vendors have chosen their spaces, in August the Taste of Soul Fest staff will use our process to identify spaces for all other vendors.
